Golden Age is a gameplay mechanic available to the Abbasid Dynasty and Ayyubids in Age of Empires IV. It is not an Age, but a multi-tiered global influence-like mechanic offering bonuses which must be unlocked and can also be "lost" (reverted).

  • The Abbasid Dynasty retains the bonuses unlocked in the previous Golden Age, whereas the Ayyubids get a new set of bonuses.
  • The Ayyubid bonuses for the first three Golden Ages is in line with the added bonuses of the Abbasid Dynasty in that particular Golden Age.
