The German Mercenary is a light melee infantry unit in Age of Empires IV that appears in the scenario The Combat of the Thirty of the The Hundred Years War campaign. It has the same icon and appearance as the standard Landsknecht and the same melee attack and hit points as the Elite Landsknecht, but with better armor. Depending on whom the player chooses as their second champion, the English will bring eight German Mercenaries to fight in the tourney.
