A Gazelle is a four-legged deer-like animal which appears in both Age of Empires and Age of Mythology as a food source.

The AoE Gacelle
Gazelles in Age of Empires often appear in groups of 5 or more and run away when attacked or if a unit moves close to them. Like all creatures in AoE, the amount of meat available diminishes as time passes so it's best to use more than one Villager to gather from each Gazelle.
Age of Mythology

Gazelles are herd-animals of Egypt, similar to the deer of Greece and the elks of the Norselands. They are a quick and easy method of gathering food.
