While in Golden Age Tier 2/3, the research speed of this technology is +15%/+20%, respectively. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%.

• Originally, Fresh Foodstuffs was available at the House of Wisdom, took 60 seconds to research, and decreased Villager cost by 50%. With patch 14681, the research time was decreased to 30 seconds. With update 6.0.878, it is available at the Town Center, takes 20 seconds to research, and decreases Villager cost by 35%. With update 10.0.576 it was moved to the Mill.
• Originally, Fresh Foodstuffs cost 50 food, 125 gold. With patch 7.1.113, it was reduced to 50 food, 75 gold.
