The French Expeditionary Company is a Consulate army in Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties that can be trained by Chinese and Indians if they choose the French as their ally once the Commerce Age is reached. It consists of four Young Guard (Middle Guard in the Fortress Age, Old Guard in the Industrial Age) Grenadiers.

The French Expeditionary Company offers a boost against all infantry units, although are weak against cavalry units, so should have some protection from heavy cavalry with either light cavalry or heavy infantry.
This army is more cost effective than the other Expeditionary Companies, having a significantly higher value (720 resources) than the usual 600 resource standard (such as 6 Musketeers or 3 Hussars) common to the other consulate options, for the same price of 400 export.
