Francesco Sforza is an infantry hero in Age of Empires II HD: The Forgotten. He is the title hero of the Sforza campaign.
He appears as a Condottiero in the HD Edition and has his own unique skin in the Definitive Edition (similar to a Champion). As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate health.

- He appears in all scenarios as himself, and in An End and a Beginning as his father, Muzio Sforza.
Kotyan Khan[]
- He appears as a Merchant in Blood for Blood. Even if he has a few soldiers, he must be escorted by the player to a Market.
Victors and Vanquished[]
- Constantine XI & Fetih: he appears as Giovanni Giustiniani in both the scenario and in the The Siege scenario event.
