Strategy[]

Forseti's technologies benefit infantry and heroes. Berserks and Hirdmen enjoy a reduction in their hack vulnerability, allowing them to last longer in combat against cavalry and other infantry. Hall of Thanes provides a speed boost to all infantry units and the two Norse heroes - the Hersir and Godi. This makes it possible to mass them and use them in raids.

His god power, the Healing Spring, is very useful, as it provides a healing source for wounded units. Whether or not a Thor player will choose the Healing Spring over Freyja's Valkyries is a matter of preference, though players should keep in mind that the Healing Spring is indestructible, and also heals multiple units over time, at the cost of mobility and the risk of falling into the enemies' side. Similarly, it can also be converted to an ally's side, but it will still be able to heal allied units on the same team regardless.

Forseti's myth unit, the Troll, throws giant rocks to deal damage to enemy human soldiers and knock them back, making it useful for protecting infantry from ranged soldiers and counter-infantry units, which serve as their main counters. The Cave Troll upgrade makes Trolls do even more damage with their Boulder Toss ability.

Thor players who follow Forseti and then Skadi in the Heroic Age will have faster and stronger Throwing Axemen. Likewise, Bragi, who is available to both Thor and Loki, grants improvements to both Berserks and Hirdmen, strengthening them even further. Finally, Tyr can be picked for the Mythic Age to provide even further improvements to Berserks and Huskarls.

Forseti's technologies benefit two of the core Norse units - the Berserk and Hersir. Ulfsarks are made more resilient to attacks from cavalry and other infantry, which is a good all-round improvement. Hersirs are given a small amount more hit points and a large speed bonus. This makes it possible to mass them and use them in raids – especially for Loki worshippers, whose Hersirs are already fast.

His god power, the Healing Spring, is very useful as it provides a healing source for wounded units. Whether or not a Thor player will choose the Healing Spring over Freyja's Valkyries is a matter of preference, though one must keep in mind that the Healing Spring is indestructible, and also heals multiple units over time, at the cost of mobility and the risk of falling into the enemies' side.

Forseti's myth unit, the Troll, is very useful defensively, plugging the Norse ranged attack gap to some extent. As they regenerate, if positioned next to the Healing Spring, they become very hard to kill.

If Loki players choose to follow Forseti, then Bragi and Hel, their Ulfsarks, Hersirs, and myth units are the fastest and strongest in the game.

Mythology[]

The son of Baldr, he was the god of justice and a force for peace. He sat in his hall, dispensing justice and resolving the disputes of both gods and men. The legends say that he never failed to bring disputing parties to agreement or pass judgment that all agreed was fair.
