The Food Wagon is a rare wagon that only appears in Act I: Fire in  Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Food Wagon looks similar to the Black Powder Wagon, with both having a man sitting on top steering the wagon with two horses. However unlike its suicidal unit counterpart, the wagon is loaded with large amounts of food crates. The Food Wagon can be trained from the Baker for 100 coin and provides 1,000 food once brought back to the base.

In the campaign[edit | edit source]

Act I: Fire[edit | edit source]

The Food Wagon makes its appearance in the Valley Forge scenario where it helps provide food to the colonial forces. The Wagon must be carefully escorted or divert a long route to avoid being ambushed by British patrols, which will take the wagons down with ease. Once the wagon is sucessfully brought back to base, it will grant the 1,000 food before dying, as it can be used only once.

In-game dialogue language[edit | edit source]

The Black Powder Wagon speak modern English with a Western American accent. They share this dialogue with other outlaw units such as Renegado, Pistolero, and Comanchero.
