The Fishing Ship is an Archaic Age civilian ship in Chronicles that can be trained at the Port. It is a basic resource gatherer on water. It is used to gather fish from various sources, and Oysters. Starting in the Civic Age, it can also build Fish Traps, which are basically Farms on water.

It has identical attributes to its Age of Empires II counterpart in isolation. However, their third Age technology is significantly different.

Trivia

• While it has a unique model when compared to the Age of Empires II Fishing Ship, it reuses the same icon, unlike the other regional skins of units in the two game variants.
• After finishing an Oysters pile, the Oystering Ship can also automatically start collecting gold from Gold Mines if any are nearby and are close to the shore. They cannot be manually tasked to do so.
