Fishing is yet another way to gain food in the world of AoE. It requires that you build a dock, and then a fishing boat or ship.
In the first Aoe titles Villagers and not only ships could collect fish, but villagers can only fish for shore fish while fishing ships can go anywhere there is water and fish. Unfortunately fish are limited and run out soon,especially shore fish, but in Age of Mythology fish are unlimited.
