Temple of Healing is a Greek myth technology in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Apollo and can be researched at the Temple. Once researched, it causes Temples to automatically heal one nearby unit at a time, by 20 hit points per second as long as the unit is idle. They can be manually tasked to heal a moving or fighting unit as well, which is slower.

Mythology[]
“ | Apollo was the father of Asclepius, the god of medicine, whose symbol, the caduceus, is still used as a symbol for medicine today (though is often portrayed as the winged staff of Hermes, not the serpent-entwined staff of Asclepius). "I begin to sing of Asclepius, son of Apollo and healer of sicknesses. In the Dotian plain fair Koronis, daughter of King Phlegyas, bare him, a great joy to men, a soother of cruel pangs. And so hail to you, lord: in my song I make my prayer to thee!" -- Homeric Hymn XVI | ” |

Trivia[]
- A bug makes it possible for Temple foundations to heal units. Players must simply have to command the foundation to heal a selected unit (see gallery).
