—Age of Empires II description |
The Canoe is an untrainable warship introduced in Age of Empires II HD: The Forgotten. It is a small and light boat that fires two arrows at enemy targets, and has the same Rate of Fire and range as the Galley, being slightly faster. It is however very lightly armored and, at 70 HP, falls easily to enemy attacks.
It has a hidden transport-ship unload mechanic, but no units can garrison, nor does it have the appropriate UI to show this.
Canoes cannot be built by the player, but they make several appearances in the campaigns. Canoes are also available in the Scenario Editor.
The unit fires a blank extra projectile like Hul'che Javelineers Skirmishers.
