Forgotten Empires was a mod developed by the Forgotten Empires studio (from which they derive their name as well) as an add-on to Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. It was released on 28 December 2012.

It was developed further developed into an official expansion Age of Empires II HD: The Forgotten.

Heavy Eagle Warrior: Upgrade version of the Eagle Warrior in the Castle Age, providing +5 HP, +1p armor, and some extra attack bonus.[1]

Features present in The Forgotten Empires mod, but not The Forgotten expansion:

  • The population limit in the mod was 1,000 as opposed to 500.
  • Huntingdogs Hunting Dogs (40 food, 25 wood, 15 seconds at Mill): Hunters and Fishermen work 25% faster.
    • Mongol Hunters work only 6.25% faster with Hunting Dogs due to their already existing faster hunting bonus.

  1. The original Eagle Warrior was renamed to Eagle Scout and the Heavy Eagle Warrior was renamed to Eagle Warrior in the official expansion, causing confusion in the naming system.
