Fereters is a technology in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - The Mountain Royals that is unique to the Armenians and available at the Castle once the Imperial Age is reached. Once researched, their infantry units (except the Spearman line) gain 30 hit points, and Warrior Priests gain +100% heal speed.

Strategy[]

With Fereters researched, infantry units become even more resilient thanks to the extra hit points they gain. The Warrior Priests have a significantly faster healing rate, thus saving resources on replacing dead units.

However, even with Fereters researched, anti-infantry units such as Cataphracts and Jaguar Warriors still pose a huge threat against them, so the player still has to be aware of these units.

Team bonuses[]

Trivia[]

  • A Fereter is a shrine for Relics, usually portable.
  • Fereters also affects the healing rate of Warrior Priest heroes, i.e. Stephan and Zakare.
