Couriers is a technology unique to the Incas that can be researched at the Castle in the Imperial Age in Age of Empires II: The Forgotten.
This technology gives Kamayuks, Slingers, and Eagle Warriors +10% speed.
Strategy
Couriers is always worth getting, as it affects all of the core units of an Inca army. Kamayuks, normally slow, become relatively fast with both Squires and Couriers researched. It is important to not fall for the trap of researching a rather inactive technology such as Couriers instead of something more useful, such as Blacksmith upgrades, elite upgrades, and most importantly, actually making troops. Couriers also benefits Eagle Warriors, making them perform even better against cavalry and archers. It also supports the hit-and-run-strategy quite nicely, but the Incan Eagle Warrior still seems comparably weak to their Aztec and Mayan counterparts.
