Ephorate is a Polemarch technology in Chronicles: Battle for Greece available to the Spartans at the Town Center upon reaching the Classical Age. Once researched, it grants Polemarchs the ability to passively heal the player's nearby military units. Priestesses are not considered military units.
The player can research only either Ephorate or Morai. Once either is chosen, the option to research the other is removed.

- Heal other Polemarchs by +20 hit points per minute
- Heal any other non-siege non-warship military units by +30 hit points per minute
- Morai disabled

Battle for Greece[]
- It increases the radius of Polemarchs' aura by +4. It grants most units regeneration of +50 hit points per minute; for Polemarchs, siege weapons, and ships by +20 hit points per minute. The healing effect of the aura affects unpacked Palintonons but not packed ones.
- With update 153015, it heals only non-siege non-ship military units, with the rate changed to +30 hit points per minute for most units and +20 hit points per minute for Polemarchs. It does not increase Polemarch aura range.
