Emperor in a Litter is a hero unit introduced in update 141935 of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. He is present in campaign scenarios and is available in the Scenario Editor. He has a unique appearance and uses the King's voicelines. As a hero, he is immune to conversion and can regenerate hit points.
Internally, he is defined as an Artifact (the capturable units in Age of Empires, like Relic Carts), so other players can take control of this unit if none of the current owner's units are nearby.
