Eitri is a Hero Dwarf and the younger brother of Brokk in Age of Mythology. He and his brother show Arkantos the way into Midgard after having helped the dwarves reclaim their forge from giants. Later Eitri and Brokk reforge Thor's hammer, Mjollnir, which was destroyed by Loki, allowing Thor to seal the gate to Tartarus from which Kronos was trying to escape.
Eitri is a hero unit who possesses the same resource-gathering abilities as the dwarf unit. He can collect any resource, but is especially efficient at mining gold.
In Retold, he possesses the "Weapon Smithing" passive ability that increases all damage of units around him by 20%.
Special ability[]
Sacred Hands (Passive): Can pick up Relics and deposit them at a Temple.- Divine Immunity (Passive): Cannot be targeted by enemy god powers.
- Dwarven (Passive): Can also gather resources. Gathers gold especially fast.
- Weapon Smithing (Passive): Increases all damage of units around him by 20%.
Campaign appearances[]
Brokk and Eitri are dwarves whom Arkantos help in defending their armory from the giants in the Fall of the Trident campaign, during the The Dwarven Forge scenario. Later, they help seal a Hades Gate in Niflheim to prevent Kronos from escaping, by restoring Mjollnir, Thor's hammer, that being the main focus of the Unlikely Heroes scenario. Their final appearance in Fall of the Trident is in the All Is Not Lost scenario.
The brothers are also known for creating a Battle Boar as a gift to Freyr. This is the main plot of the The Golden Gift campaign.
Brokk, along with his brother Eitri, make a return in the Immortal Pillars campaign Pillars of the Gods. In the scenario Shattered Underworlds, they, alongside Ajax, accompany Yan Feifeng throughout the various underworlds to obtain Nüwa's five colored stones. The brothers return in the final scenario, Duel of the Deathless, where they hold off Chiyou to buy Yan Feifeng, Houyi, and Cangjie some time to defend themselves before Xingtian, the Chinese Titan, is eventually summoned to defeat Chiyou and, later, Huang Zhaowu.

Trivia[]
- Despite being able to gather resources like Dwarves, Eitri does not count towards the number of gatherers for whatever resource he is gathering. The same happens to his brother Brokk.
