Economic Policy is an Athenian policy in Chronicles: Battle for Greece, available at the Town Center starting in the Archaic Age. It is the default policy that all Athenian players start with. While this policy is active, the Athenian civilization bonus which allows Villagers collecting wood from trees to generate extra food is buffed. As the Athenian civilization bonus grants a base rate of 1 food for every 14.7 wood, this is increased by 50% to 1.5 food for the same amount of wood, resulting in 1 food for every 9.8 wood.

The player can switch between the three government policies, Economic, Military, and Naval, instantly at any time. Switching to a policy is free for the first time, followed by 25 gold, and finally 50 gold for all subsequent ones.

Changelog[]

Battle for Greece[]

  • The policy's effect increases the work rate of Villagers so that they construct buildings and gather resources 7% faster.
  • With update 153015, the policy only boosts the lumberjack food generation civilization bonus by 50%.
