This article is about the unique building of Thor. For the campaign building, see Dwarven Forge. |
“ | Thor's special Armory that improves the weapons and armor of infantry and cavalry. | ” |
—In-game description |
The Dwarven Armory is a special building in Age of Mythology that is only available to Norse players with Thor as the major god. It replaces the Armory, and can be built in the Archaic Age (an Age earlier) at half the cost. Technologies at the Dwarven Armory are also considerably cheaper than those at the Armory (see below). Consecutive technologies are not tied to a particular Age, so for example, a player could research both Copper Weapons and Bronze Weapons in the Classical Age.
Most importantly, a fourth level of technologies that are unique to Thor can be researched. These extra technologies only improve human soldiers and Hersirs, however.

Trivia[]
- If the player uses triggers in the Scenario Editor to activate Chongli's Heavenly Fire or Hephaestus' Forge of Olympus myth technologies, they will not reduce the price of upgrades at the Dwarven Armory, as the Dwarven Armory's upgrades are separate from those researched at a regular Armory, the latter of which both aforementioned technologies affect.
