Divine Light is a Chinese technology in Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars, available to research at the Temple and the Imperial Academy. Once researched, it allows Pioneers to pick up Relics, and grants them more range and Line of Sight. Sky Lanterns also gain more Line of Sight.

History

“	Sky lanterns, also known as Kongming lanterns, are ancient Chinese paper lanterns. According to legend, they were invented by the renowned military strategist Zhuge Liang, also known as Kongming. It is said he used them as distress signals when surrounded by enemies, which is why they are also called Kongming lanterns. In addition to distress signals, lanterns are also utilized for making wishes and transmitting messages. In some legends, people even made large sky lanterns to illuminate the path for armies at night.	”
