Effect
Individual Town Center: Upgraded to Defensive Town Center

Defensive Town Center is a unique upgrade for a Town Center in Chronicles: Battle for Greece, available to the Achaemenids at their Town Centers upon reaching the Civic Age. Once researched, it permanently upgrades that specific Town Center to a Defensive Town Center, which increases the durability and fire power of the Town Center and also makes nearby units attack faster.

The player can upgrade any particular Town Center just once to either an Economic Town Center, Military Town Center, or Defensive Town Center. Once any one is chosen, the option to obtain other upgrades at that building is removed. Different Town Centers can have different upgrades.

Effect

• The Town Center gains:
  • +50% hit points (2,400 → 3,600)
  • +5 pierce attack (5 → 10)
  • +2 melee / +2 pierce armors (4/6 → 6/8 in Civic Age)
  • +1 range (6 → 7)
  • +3 projectiles always (0 → 3)
  • +2 projectile capacity (10 → 12)
• All of the player's units in a range of 8 have +15% attack speed (approx. -13.04% reload time).
• Economic Town Center and Military Town Center: Disabled at that Town Center.
