Corned Gunpowder is a campaign-exclusive technology in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the University in the Imperial Age. It increases the damage of ranged units by 20%. It is available only in the original four campaigns, but was removed for all other game modes.
The Mongols can research the improved version of this technology at the Arsenal. It costs an additional 975 stone and further improves the damage of ranged units by 10% (30% total).
