Copper Mail is a common technology in Age of Mythology that is researched at the Armory. It makes human units and heroes less vulnerable to hack attacks and ships less vulnerable to both hack and crush attacks.

History
Copper was made into armor as well as weapons, because even this relatively soft metal provided a better body defense than leather or cloth. We don’t know how common copper armor was, however. Copper was valuable, so only the elite of a warrior society might wear it. When bronze was discovered, many of the existing copper objects were probably destroyed to make the new alloy.
Trivia
- Originally armour-line upgrades would change the appearance of a unit's body, whilst unit upgrade lines would only change the appearance of the unit's head.
