The Compound of the Defender is a defensive landmark available to the Delhi Sultanate in Age of Empires IV in the Feudal Age. It enables infantry units to build Stone Walls, Gates, and Towers. It also reduces the Stone cost of all buildings and Emplacements by 20%. This includes not only all stone defensive buildings, but Town Centers and Wonders as well. It also contains several defensive technologies that can be researched in the Castle Age, including ones that are normally only available in the Imperial Age.
