Increases the build limit of Banks at the expense of reduced hitpoints.
—In-game description

Coffee Trade is a technology in Age of Empires III that is unique to the Dutch and can be researched at the Church once the "Religious Freedom" Home City Card has been sent. Once researched, it increases the build limit of Banks by 2 but reduces Banks' hit points by 20%.

Changelog[]

Knights of the Mediterranean[]

  • With patch 15.30007, Coffee Trade reduces Bank hit points by 20% instead of reducing military unit speed by 10%.
