Cipactli Worship is a Big Button technology in Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs that is unique to the Aztecs and can be researched at the Dock once the Commerce Age is reached. Once researched, four Tlaloc Canoes will appear in the Home City naval shipment point, and the player's war ship hit points and damage are increased by 10%.
With the Industrial Age "Old Ways" Home City Card, the cost is reduced to 1,000 food, 250 coin.
Strategy[]
Given that four Tlaloc Canoes would have cost 1,600 wood, 400 coin to train, and that food is usually much easier to come by, Cipactli Worship quite a good choice. It is available for research even if the player already has the maximum number of Tlaloc Canoes, so Aztec players who want to field a large navy should train as many Tlaloc Canoes as possible before researching this technology, giving them a total of 9 Tlaloc Canoes.
