Chicken Storm is a cheat god power in Age of Mythology. When cast, explosive Methane Chickens (named Chicken Exploding in Retold) rain down randomly over the target area. It is similar to Thoth's Meteor and even shares the same icon. However, what starts with only one Chicken crashing onto the Earth is followed by several others at a much faster rate than the meteors. When the countdown is almost up, all the Chickens simultaneously burst, spilling toxic blood similar to the Egyptian Scarab, dealing tremendous damage to any unit within range.

In Retold, it can be cast more than once without having to resend the cheat code, but after a cooldown. It also no longer has any name or description.

Chicken Exploding (named Methane Chicken before Retold) is a cheat unit, groups of which are spawned by the Chicken Storm cheat god power, which can be obtained via the cheat code "BAWK BAWK BOOM". Once invoked, the Chickens stay for a while before self exploding, greatly damaging or destroying all units and buildings nearby. The attributes and appearance of Methane Chickens are identical to regular Chickens, but they cannot be attacked or harvested by workers. It can be attacked and killed by others, but doing so causes that Chicken to explode anyway.

The Methane Chicken cannot normally be found in the Scenario Editor. A modified version is also spawned during the "Cluck-Cluck-BOOM!" Chaos Event in Gauntlet mode.
