—In-game description |
The Cherokee War Hut is a special campaign-exclusive defensive structure in Age of Empires III. It cannot be built, but is featured in the campaign and available in the Scenario Editor.
Campaign appearances[]
After John Black's forces manage to fend off Cherokee assaults in Brunswick, John Black decides that it is time to take the fight to them by destroying their war camps and then negotiating a peace treaty at the main Cherokee village.
More specifically, two War Huts make their appearance in the mission Strange Alliances of the Act II: Ice campaign.
To destroy the War Huts, the player should send their heroes to take the brunt of the damage - they'll regenerate, whereas soldiers won't. Once the structures suffer enough damage, they will spawn some Cherokee defenders, including Cherokee Archers, Riflemen, and Horse Archers.
When the War Huts are down, John Black will be asked to meet with the enemy leader, at the Cherokee village.
