One-Time-Heroes

There are three types of heroes in Age of Mythology. The civil heroes that can be bought again at any time through costs, the campaign and extra heroes that can be revived and the so-called one-time-heroes that cannot be bought again. These heroes are a mix of the first two categories.

God power/Civil: The Heroes of Ragnarok, the Son of Osiris, and all Gullinbursti versions.

Campaign: Theocrat/Krios, Circe, Osiris, General Melagius, Polaris, the Son of Osirs XP, Kastor (with staff), the Servant Chinese, Emperor Yao, Theris, the Servant of Kronos, the Servant of Kronos (flying), and the Fire King.

Others: Ornlu and the Regent.

In Retold, however, there are minor changes. Circe, Krios and Kastor (with staff) can now be revived, and all god power heroes can be reobtained when the god power's cooldown period is over.
