Carronade is a technology in Age of Empires III that can be researched at the Dock once the Commerce Age is reached. Once researched, it increases the damage of war ships by 25%. Percussion Lock is the further upgrade of this technology.

Carronade is exceptionally useful for ships with high damage such as Frigates and Privateers.
