Camel Rider Shields is a unique technology available to the Abbasid Dynasty in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the Stable starting in the Castle Age. Once researched, it grant Camel Riders shields, improving their melee armor by 3. It is required to research Camel Rider Barding.
While in Golden Age Tier 2/3, the research speed of this technology is +15%/+20%, respectively. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%. Additionally, it is granted for free to Byzantine Mercenary Camel Riders when advancing to the Imperial Age with the Foreign Engineering Company.
