Camel Rider Barding (Camel Barding before Season Two Update 17718) is a unique technology available to the Abbasid Dynasty in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the Stable in the Imperial Age. It requires Camel Rider Shields to be researched first. Once researched, it increases the melee and ranged armor of Camel Riders by 2.
While in Golden Age Tier 2/3, the research speed of this technology is +15%/+20%, respectively. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%. Additionally, it is granted for free to Byzantine Mercenary Camel Riders when advancing to the Imperial Age with the Foreign Engineering Company.
