Butted Chainmail is a unique technology of the Macedonian Dynasty in Age of Empires IV: Dynasties of the East that can be researched multiple times at the Varangian Arsenal starting in the Feudal Age. It increases the melee and ranged armor of all melee infantry units by 1, and their hit points by +5%.
