This page lists the buildings in Chronicles. Most constructible buildings in Chronicles are identical to those in the base game, and do not exist as separate buildings in the game files, in many cases sharing the same name and icon as well. A few, namely the Port and Shipyard, have no equivalents. They can be classed according to their purpose, the Age they become available in, and whether they are constructible in standard games, or are exclusive to the Scenario Editor.

Analogous to Age of Empires II, appearance of the buildings is the same for all Chronicles civilizations in the Archaic Age. Starting in the Civic Age, it changes into one of two possible architecture sets (Greek or Persian), depending on the civilization. Buildings change appearance again in the Classical Age, and in the Imperial Age, Town Centers, Markets and Academies update their appearance one last time.

Constructable buildings[]

Constructable buildings are buildings that can be built in regular games by Villagers. Buildings can be classified according to their purpose. Some buildings fulfill multiple purposes.

Some hit point and armor values change depending on Age. They are described as a series of values, separated by slash /. The first value in the series is that of the age in which the building becomes available and the last value is that of the Imperial Age.
