—In-game description |
Bronze is a Greek Heroic Age god power in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Dionysus. When invoked, it reduces the hack and pierce vulnerabilities of all friendly human soldiers, myth units (including flying and naval ones), and ships in a small area by 40% for 45 seconds. It does not affect heroes, siege weapons, or civilians.
Effect[]
For 45 seconds, Bronze covers all friendly human soldiers, myth units (except Titan), and ships in an area of 30, reducing their hack and pierce vulnerabilities by -40%. Ships also gain reduced crush vulnerability by the same amount.
Further statistics[]
Age bonuses[]
Wonder Age: -75% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Relic bonuses[]
Hekate's Torches: -10% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Strategy[]
Bronze can be used both for defending or attacking. It allows the player's soldiers to last longer in combat and makes them less likely to be killed. Bronze can also be used to greatly boosts defense of the player's ships, allowing them to withstand enemy attacks much longer. However, it should be noted that while Bronze increases armor, it does by no means render the affected units invincible and tactics should not be disregarded. It is best used when the player has researched most of the Armory technologies.
