Britain is a Real World random map introduced in Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. It depicts the area around the United Kingdom.

The map features large bodies of water surrounding the main island. Some islands have valuable resources on them. Particularly, the Isle of Man (located between England and Ireland) has six guaranteed Gold Mines, and the Isle of Wight (between England and France) five guaranteed Stone Mines.
The main island holds a lot of Gold and Stone Mines. Since there are no huge landmasses, naval battle is of high importance since almost all areas (apart from the very middle of the main island) can be reached and attacked from the sea.
Environment[]
The environment is typical European. The woods are home to Wolves, Deer, and Wild Boars. There are also Sheep and Forage Bushes, and naturally, there is also fish. In the north there are some cliffs protecting the shores and there is some snow and pine trees.
