The Berber Archer is an archer in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition that is exclusive to the Barbary Pirates and Moroccans in the Historical Battles, serving as a replacement for the Longbowman. This unit is also accessible in the Scenario Editor under the Units category, as "SPC Berber Archer".

- With update 23511, the Berber Archer is tagged as foot archer.
- Berber Archers have a ×2.0 ranged multiplier against light ranged cavalry and ranged shock infantry, and ×0.75 against cavalry and hand shock infantry.
The African Royals[]
- Although it is not listed in the patch notes, with update 13.4412, Berber Archers are tagged as archaic infantry.

- With update 13.9057, the Berber Archer is tagged as light infantry.
- With update 13.58326, Berber Archers give 7 XP when trained or killed, have a ×2.5 ranged multiplier against light cavalry and ranged shock infantry, ×0.6 vs. cavalry and ×0.5 vs. shock infantry.
- With update 14.43676, Berber Archers have a ×0.6 ranged multiplier against shock infantry.
