The Berber Archer is an archer in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition that is exclusive to the Barbary Pirates and Moroccans in the Historical Battles, serving as a replacement for the Longbowman. This unit is also accessible in the Scenario Editor under the Units category, as "SPC Berber Archer".

Overview[]

The Berber Archer is also available on the random Unknown map. It can be trained at the Watch Tower and Native Embassy with a training limit of 10, has the native warrior tag, and does not require population. In this case, the Berber Archer will be affected by any Home City Cards and technologies that affect native warriors. Researching the "Moroccan Allegiance" technology at Native Embassy will unlock the training of Berber Archers at barracks for all civilizations.
