Behind Enemy Lines is the eleventh scenario of the Yasuko's Tale campaign in Age of Mythology: Retold - Heavenly Spear.
The main objective is to reach the Great Cave while sneaking through underground tunnels to avoid getting spotted by Kagemasa's large armies.

- Yasuko ( Amaterasu): Starts with Yasuko and Akari, who have been joined by Ajax, Brokk, and Eitri, as well as two Valkyries.

- Harumoto ( Amaterasu): Harumoto and his troops will distract Kagemasa to allow the heroes to make their way through the tunnels.

- Sentries ( Susanoo): There are a few groups of sentries that the player must be careful around, as if the sentries spot the player, they will send Kagemasa's troops against them.
Enemy[]
- Kagemasa ( Susanoo): Has multiple military and myth units scattered throughout the underground tunnels, as well as increasingly large armies that periodically march onto the battlefield on the west side of the map.
- Rogue Shinigami ( Susanoo): Consists of Shinigami who have betrayed Kagemasa and his minions.

Once again, Ajax, Brokk, and Eitri will join in at the start. Use the heroes to do most of the fighting to avoid losses, especially when fighting myth units. At certain points, the player will need to sneak past enemy patrols, but they move in predictable patterns, so it shouldn't be hard to avoid them. Don't fight the large camps of enemies, as there's no benefit to doing so. As long as the player keeps rescuing additional troops, the later fights should be easy, even after Ajax, Brokk, and Eitri leave the party.
Since the player has no means of gathering and storing resources, their god powers should be used wisely.
