Strategy[]
Battle Boars are one of the most durable Myth Units in the game. When upgraded with both Baldr's bonus and Thurisaz Rune and placed in a Forest tile, their Defense reaches a whopping 95%. It can charge into a battlefield, take out a few weak units, withstand the attacks of others, and finally retreat to a Priest or Healing Spring. As a cavalry type myth unit, it also deals bonus damage against several types of units, namely heavy infantry, archers and siege. They should still be wary of light infantry and heroes but they can still hold their ground fairly well against them.
Trivia[]
- Unlike its Age of Mythology counterpart, this Battle Boar is not a mechanical construct but merely an oversized boar covered in armor.
