“ | Wall hitpoints increased. | ” |
—In-game description |
Bastion is a technology in Age of Empires III that can be researched once the Fortress Age* is reached at a Wall, while European civilizations can also research it at the Church (Mosque for the Ottomans, Basilica for the Italians). Once researched, all Walls get +600% hit points, but increases build time by 80%.
Bastion is available to European, Asian and Native American civilizations except for the Sioux, who cannot build walls in the first place. With the release of the Definitive Edition, the Lakota can build Walls from the Industrial Age, so Bastion is only available to them from that age.
