As with Revolutionaries, revolting into Barbary States will turn all Settlers into Barbary Warriors, and they can be trained in place of Settlers at Town Centers.
Barbary Warriors are melee heavy infantry, they are best at fighting cavalry units and are fairly effective against other heavy infantry units, but, for melee heavy infantry, it is relatively weak against buildings. Barbary Warriors have an exceptional speed for infantry.
While they have lower hitpoints and overall attack, they are more population efficient than their mercenary version, and cost food instead of coin. Furthermore, they have a good bonus against Treasure guardians and specially versus Villagers, paired with their speed, makes them good raiders. Their siege attack is lower but attacks faster than the Barbary Corsairs, so their damage per second is better.
