The Baboon of Set (named Ape of Set before Retold) is an Egyptian animal and a scout unit in Age of Mythology that Set's Pharaoh can summon in exchange for favor. Set's Priests can convert wild Baboons for free. Players worshiping Set also spawn one Baboon of Set from their Town Center at game start.
The Pharaoh is free to move, empower buildings and attack while he is summoning animals. The following animals can be summoned by the Pharaoh:
