History[]
“ | The Axe Cart or 'Egu Che' is a close-combat siege weapon that harnesses the power of leverage. This siege engine features hooks designed to swing upward and 'bite' into walls, damaging or breaking down their tops to facilitate access for soldiers using climbing devices. The name Egu, meaning 'hungry bird' in Chinese, reflects the weapon's aggressive use, likened to a ravenous bird relentlessly pecking at its prey. |

Trivia[]
- According to the flavor text of the Axe Cart, this siege unit is also called Egu Che. The Chinese for this would be 餓鶻車 (Simplified Chinese: 餓鹘车); however, this Chinese name is not used and its in-game name in the Chinese-language versions is simply 斧頭車 (Traditional Chinese) and 铁斧战车 (Simplified Chinese) which both are literally translate to 'axe cart'.
- However, Egu Che is a wrong pronunciation for 餓鶻車 (Simplified Chinese: 餓鹘车). It should be è hú chē, since 鶻 means 'falcon' in this name.
