—Age of Empires IV description |
The Atakebune is a military ship which is unique to the Japanese in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend and is available at the Dock in the Imperial Age. It replaces the Warship available to most other civilizations.
The Atakebune fires a burst of three rockets (despite the UI saying 6), with each shot having a 0.375-tile radius Area of Effect, with damage scaling down to 40% and 20% of its maximum towards the edge. It can only fire from one side at a time, with each side sharing the same attack cooldown, and can fire while moving.

Tactics[]
