Argive Patronage is a Greek myth technology in Age of Mythology: Retold, available to research at the Fortress if the Mythic Age is reached through Hera. Once researched, it makes all Fortresses periodically spawn Myrmidons, the unique unit of Zeus, automatically.
Effects[]
- Fortress: Spawns a Myrmidon every 60 seconds. This spawning is slower than the Myrmidon training time (14 seconds), but costs no resources. Fortresses can still train other units (including Myrmidons) and research technologies while it is spawning. The spawn can be paused or resumed by clicking on the leftmost Myrmidon icon above the command panel which appears after this technology is researched. The spawn period is not affected by other effects which affect Myrmidon creation time, such as Levy Infantry technology or Canopic Jar of Imsety Relic.
