Amoghavarsha is an infantry hero in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Dynasties of India. He has the appearance of an Urumi Swordsman. As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate health.

Amoghavarsha is portrayed in dialogues during the scenarios Desire, Liberation?, and Enlightenment in the Devapala campaign, but the unit itself does not make an appearance.
History[]
Amoghavarsha I (also known as Amoghavarsha Nrupathunga I ) (r.814–878 CE) was a Rashtrakuta emperor, the greatest ruler of the Rashtrakuta dynasty. His reign of 64 years is one of the longest precisely dated monarchical reigns on record. Many Kannada and Sanskrit scholars prospered during his rule.
