Objectives[]
- Escape Kagemasa
- Bring your heroes to Akari's camp in the forest. (Akari has a camp in the forest where you can resupply and prepare for the trials ahead.)
- Reach any of Amaterasu's shrines to receive divine aid. (There are multiple paths you can take that lead you to one of three shrines. You do not have to fight everything in your path. Consider stopping by any Tanuki you encounter to heal your forces.)
Spotlight[]
| โ | The Japanese have a blend of supportive and destructive god powers, best used against large groups of enemies. Early-game god powers like New Moon, Goshinboku, and Solar Shield support your civilization by researching technologies for free, reviving fallen myth units, and temporarily shielding a friendly unit. Later god powers have devastating effects, such as Thunder Burst, Dragon Typhoon, and Divine Slash, which deals heavy damage to enemy forces. Smiting Gust blasts enemies away, scattering them across the battlefield. |

Speed is of the essence here, as after Kagemasa levels Akari's camp to the ground with a Great Flood, he will send an extremely massive army in order to kill the player's troops. However, his army moves incredibly slowly, so the player has time to seek out any Tanuki in the path they have chosen in order to heal their troops. Since reaching the shrine at the end of the path the player has chosen is enough to complete the scenario, the player does not have to fight everything in their path.
