Alexander Nevski is a cavalry hero found in the Scenario Editor in Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. He is based on Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky (1221-1263) who is commonly regarded as a key figure of the Kievan Rus. Alexander Nevski is best known for achieving legendary status on the account of his military victories over German and Swedish invaders while agreeing to pay tribute to the powerful Golden Horde. As a hero, Alexander Nevski cannot be converted and can regenerate health.
Alexander Nevski is represented by a Cavalier but with better armor and 110 more hit points. Like other cavalry, Alexander Nevski is affected by all technologies that affect cavalry as well as any other bonuses that affect them.
He is one of the starting units in the Battle Royale Battle on Ice map.

- Kaesong: Wang Geon, a renamed Alexander Nevski, is the ruler of Goryeo in northern Korea. He leads the defense of Goryeo lands and is set on conquering both of the Silla and Hubaekje states in the south, in order to unify Korea.
Alaric[]
- Legionaries on the Horizon!: General Mageius is a renamed Alexander Nevski. He commands a Roman camp in the south, which serves as the rally point for Roman legionaries. The camp has to be destroyed in retaliation for Honorius' betrayal.
Vlad Dracula[]
- The Dragon Spreads His Wings: In the HD Edition version, Voivod Istvan is a renamed Alexander Nevski. He rules the northern Wallachian fort. He is besieged by Danesti forces, and will join Vlad in protecting the fort and fighting the Danesti forces of Vladislav II.
- The Return of the Dragon: In the HD Edition, Voivod Istvan is riding alongside Dracula, along with the other two Voivods.
- The Moon Rises: In the HD Edition version, Voivod Istvan controls Rasnov Castle and helps destroy the Ottoman vanguard forces. He will defend Rasnov against the invading Ottoman forces. Afterwards, he and the other Voivods meet up with Dracula after the siege of Poenari Castle, during Dracula's sneak attack. All four heroes eventually escape to Hungary via a secret exit.

- The Old World: Before Dynasties of India, Cardinal Mendoza is a renamed Alexander Nevski. He is stationed at the northwestern Aragonese camp alongside several Missionaries and can be captured for a ransom.

- Kurikara: In the HD Edition, the Mounted Samurai accompanying Minamoto are all renamed Alexander Nevski.
Tamerlane[]
- A Titan Amongst Mortals: The leader of the Wallachian Auxiliaries is a renamed Alexander Nevski. The auxiliaries can be paid 500 gold to abandon the Ottoman forces, weakening the incoming Ottoman assault.
Edward Longshanks[]
- Vain Ambition: Simon the Younger is a renamed Alexander Nevski. He leads the Baronial Forces stationed at Kenilworth. He awaits the arrival of the Baronial reinforcements, before leading his troops to attack Edward's forces at Worchester.
Victors and Vanquished[]
Robert: Rudolph, the duke of Burgundy, is a renamed Alexander Nevski. He is initially neutral to Robert the same as the other dukes. Rudolph favors martial kings and will support Robert if the latter constructs Castles to protect his domain with.
Trivia[]
- Despite being introduced in The Conquerors, Alexander Nevski is shown with a The Age of Kings icon in the Scenario Editor of the HD Edition.
