Content Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate specific parts of the community. These tools are:
- Editing and moving fully protected articles, files, and templates
- Deleting and undeleting articles, files, and templates
- Rollback
- Protecting and unprotecting pages
- Patrolling pages
- Deleting and undeleting article and blog comments
- Deleting, undeleting, editing, locking, and unlocking message wall threads
- Viewing deleted pages and comments
- Editing user blogs
Having this status causes the tag "Content Moderator" to appear next to a user's username in their profile.
Administrators enjoy all the privileges of content moderators, so they do not need to be put into that group.
Wiki policy[]
There is no prerequisite to becoming a content moderator, though attaining a content moderator status is a prerequisite for becoming a Sysop in this wiki. To request for this right, see Requests for permissions.
All content moderators are given thread moderator rights in addition to this right.
If no administrators are active for sixty days, content moderator(s) can ask Fandom staff to be promoted to sysops permanently. One month after their promotion to sysops, they can ask Fandom staff to be further promoted to bureaucrats after having their activity verified.
